Gopher Tortoise Recipient Site Spaces
Reservations
Sandhill Conservation’s first recipient site is permitted to accept over 4,000 gopher tortoises. We strive to provide reservation letters within the same day as requested.
Pick-up, Transport, and Release
We offer full service pick up, transport, release, and metrics. Gopher tortoise metrics are provided within a week of the relocation event to ensure the relocation agent has sufficient time to enter the data into FWC’s website for permit compliance.
Range
Our recipient site can accept tortoises within 100 miles of the site which covers down to Levy, and the majority of Marion and Volusia Counties. Please contact us to inquire whether your site is within 100 miles of our recipient site.
Pricing
We offer the most competitive pricing in the market.
<20 tortoises=$4,500.00 per adult and $1,500 for juveniles.
>20 tortoises=$4,000.00 per adult and $1,500 for juveniles.
